Deep dive
Family, friends and colleagues each get their own view of your details. Choose what every group can see — and when someone asks for one more detail, share just that, just with them.
Sofia's life has different circles.
One business card for everyone? Not everything is for everyone.
Each circle sees what fits.
Someone asks? Share just that — just with them.
Your family can have your home address and birthday, your colleagues your work details. Each group sees only the details you pick for it.
Put a connection in a group and they see what that group sees. Give a group another detail and everyone in it can see it.
When someone needs something their group doesn't show, share just that detail with just them — the rest of their group doesn't get it.
Friends, Family and Work are there from the start, and you can add groups of your own. Put each connection in one or more groups.
Open a group and tick the details it can see — your home address and birthday for family, for example, but not for work.
A connection can ask you for a detail they can't see yet. You approve the request or decline it.
Approve, and that detail is shared with that one person on top of what their groups show. Nobody else in their group gets it.
For each connection, allme adds up everything their groups can see, anything you shared with them personally and anything you share with a bunch you're both in. Nothing is taken away from that total behind your back, and nobody sees a detail you didn't give them one of those ways. The text details they can see, like a number or an address, are encrypted in a copy that only their app can open.
Read the privacy deep-dive →Yes. They see everything that any of their groups can see.
No. What someone sees is everything their groups show, plus anything you shared with them personally or with a bunch you're both in — nothing subtracts from that. To show someone less, remove whatever gives them that detail: take them out of every group that shows it, and stop sharing it with them personally or in a bunch you're both in.
The details that group shared stop reaching them, unless you still share them another way — through another group, directly with that person, or with a bunch you're both in.
No. You can share an extra detail with a connection yourself at any time, from their connection page.
No, those groups are always there. Groups you create yourself you can rename or delete.
