Deep dive
Your share code is how people find you in allme. Hand it out as a link, a QR code or out loud — they send a request, and you choose what each person gets.
Sofia just met Marcus at a conference.
Swapping numbers and cards: typos, lost cards, outdated details.
One code. She decides what he sees.
Connected — and it stays up to date.
One short code instead of spelling out numbers and email addresses. Share it as a link, show it as a QR code or just read it out.
Your code shows nothing about you — not even your name. It only lets someone send you a request, and you choose what they get.
Once you're connected, a change you make reaches them automatically — no new card, no "here's my new number".
Your share code is on your dashboard. Send it as an invite link, copy it, show it as a QR code or read it out.
The other person enters your code, adds a message if they like, and can ask for specific details and choose what they share with you.
Accept the request and pick the groups and fields they can see — or decline it.
You each see what the other chose to share, and it stays current from then on.
Looking up a share code only tells the app that the code exists — it never shows a name or any of your details, and lookups are rate-limited so codes can't be tried in bulk. The text details you share after connecting, like a number or an address, are encrypted in a copy that only that person's app can open.
Read the privacy deep-dive →No. A code on its own shows nothing about you, not even your name. It only lets them send you a request, and they see only what you choose to share once you accept.
No. You can decline a request, and until you accept, nothing of yours is shared with them.
Your invite link opens a page on allme.fyi with your name and links to the app stores. Once they have the app, the same link opens it with your code already filled in.
No, your code stays the same, so every link and QR code you have already handed out keeps working.
Yes. When you send a request you can pick what you share with them, and ask them for specific details.
